Privacy Policy

Turner & Barnett Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 39 697 783 038) — "we" and "us" in this policy — is a two-person consultancy based on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, Queensland. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and how to reach us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Contact details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us about your business, whether by email, by phone, or through our Client Discovery Brief form. We also collect standard website logs: the pages you visit, the time of your visit, your browser type and IP address. Our hosting provider records these automatically, as most websites do.

Our discovery form

The Client Discovery Brief is hosted by Jotform, a third-party form provider. What you submit there is stored with Jotform and delivered to us. Jotform's own privacy policy covers its handling of that data.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links are clicked. IP addresses are anonymised. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, and Google handles the data it collects under its own privacy policy. To opt out, block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or personal identifiers.

We are not currently using Meta's pixel on this site. If we advertise on Facebook or Instagram again and add it, we will update this policy.

How we use your information

To respond when you contact us. To prepare for and deliver work you've asked us to do, including the free demo build. To understand how this website is used and to measure our advertising, as described above. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business — hosting, email and forms — and only so they can provide those services to us, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. If you'd like what we hold about you deleted, ask us and we'll delete it unless we're legally required to keep it.

Access and correction

You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
